The investment company BCC Invest served as a partner of the international Islamic Finance and Business Forum 2026. The forum was held on 21 May in Astana at the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC). It served as a platform for discussing the current state of the Islamic finance market in Kazakhstan, legislative changes, and prospects for the further development of the industry.
The forum brought together representatives of business and the corporate sector, financial institutions, the AIFC, as well as international and local Sharia experts. Participants focused on the development of Islamic financial instruments, the expansion of investment opportunities, and improved product accessibility for the public and businesses.
The company BCC Invest was represented by Artem Malykh, Product Manager at the Product Management Department. He spoke at the session "Practice of Islamic Finance in the Market: Implemented Cases", where he presented the company's experience in developing investment solutions that comply with Sharia principles.

During the presentation, an Interval Unit Investment Fund Wardat al Hayat was introduced — an investment product BCC Invest operating in accordance with the principles of Islamic finance. The report covered the fund's structure, the asset selection approach, and the growing investor interest in Sharia-compliant investment instruments in Kazakhstan.
Particular attention was paid to changes aimed at increasing the fund's accessibility for retail investors. On 6 April, a redenomination of the fund's unit value was carried out: instead of USD 100, one fund unit now costs USD 1, making the fund even more accessible to a wider segment of the public. This decision makes the investment product more accessible to a broader audience and supports the further development of Islamic investing in the country.
The company's BCC Invest participation in the forum highlights its commitment to developing innovative products and providing clients with investment solutions that meet modern demands and international standards of Islamic finance.
The forum was organised by the Islamic Finance and Business Association of Kazakhstan (AIFB), AIFC and a communications agency Tidam.
